Not to worry. At Clark Legal Services LLC we specialize in helping clients navigate through this process in the most effective and efficient way.
Generally, we employ a three step estate planning process to determine where you are, where you want to go and how best to get there.

Step One – Our initial consultation will help us determine your goals and asses your current situation. Prior to meeting, we will send you our Estate Planning Intake and Assessment materials. Don’t worry. It doesn’t all have to be completed before our meeting but it will help to guide our discussion and allow us to start to formulate some early scenarios for achieving your goals. This meeting is generally one hour.
Step Two – Our second meeting will be a more detailed meeting where we design your specific estate plan. We will discuss all of your options based on the specific information you have provided and by the end of the meeting you will know exactly where we are headed. This meeting is generally 60-120 minutes depending on the number of options available to you and the complexity of your situation.
Step Three – Our third and final meeting will be a review of your specific documents to make sure you understand the purpose and contents of each part of your plan. Once we have reviewed everything in detail and made any final changes, you will sign and finalize all of your documents. This meeting is usually 1-2 hours in duration.
Shortly after the end of our third meeting you will have your finalized Estate Plan, including all of the documents in both paper and electronic format.
All of our plans include the initial funding of your trust (if you have one) and a complimentary “team” meeting with all of the people involved in the implementation of your estate planning to make sure they each understand their role in the process.
